In addition to the conference program, attendees will have the chance to explore cutting-edge research and technologies shaping the future of child health and safety near the conference auditorium. Featured research and technologies will include:

Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn more about CHOP’s IDEA Lab, a hub for innovation, prototyping, and discovery. These exhibits and technologies will be available to attendees during conference breaks.
Receptions & Banquet
The 70th Stapp Car Crash Conference will offer attendees three opportunities to connect and network throughout the conference, including a traditional Welcome Reception and two unique evening experiences at some of Philadelphia’s most distinctive museums: the Mütter Museum and the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum.
As part of the conference experience, attendees will enjoy complete access to all museum exhibits during each event. Both events are included as part of the conference experience and offer attendees a chance to network, explore, and experience Philadelphia beyond the conference sessions.
Biomechanics through a Pediatric Healthcare Lens
On Thursday, 12 November after the conference, there will be tours of the CHOP Sled Laboratory and the Neuromotor Performance Lab. The theme of the tours is Biomechanics through a Pediatric Healthcare Lens.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how biomechanics is being applied beyond traditional automotive safety to advance pediatric healthcare and injury prevention with researchers from the Center for Injury Research and Prevention (CIRP) at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

Pre-Conference Practicum
The Stapp Conference is pleased to announce a special event prior to the conference proper. On Monday, 9 November, The Stapp Association will be hosting a workshop-style practicum. The dialog will focus on Vulnerable Road User Safety.
The afternoon will feature short presentations followed by roundtable conversations and group discussions, with guiding questions provided by the invited experts. Lunch will be provided before the practicum.
