Preparations are underway for the 70th Stapp Car Crash Conference, which will be held November 10th-12th, 2026 at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
NHTSA Biomechanics Workshop
The Stapp Car Crash Conference is held adjacent to the NHTSA Workshop on Human Subjects for Biomechanical Research so that Conference Attendees have the opportunity to attend both.
Call for Papers 2026
The Stapp Advisory Committee invites submission of full-length manuscripts that advance the science of injury biomechanics and transportation safety to the Stapp Journal. Manuscripts submitted by July 15th are guaranteed to complete the review process prior to the 70th Stapp Car Crash Conference and will be offered a podium presentation slot at the conference if accepted. Manuscripts submitted after this date will also be considered and will be offered a podium presentation slot if accepted prior to the conference. Manuscripts accepted prior to the conference will be made available through SAE as eFirst Articles prior to presentation at the conference and publication in the Stapp Car Crash Journal.
Call for Short Communications
